Spring Fishing
Course Outline:
In this course we discuss and demonstrate the basics of spring fishing techniques for trout and salmon on Lake Ontario. Topics covered include running planer boards, setting up, operating, and rigging downriggers, tying some common knots, lure presentations, and more. The class is run as an open-forum type setting, where we will address any questions/concerns as we go, as well as listen to others' experiences and techniques that want to share with the group.
One of the Finders Keepers boats will be on-site for visual demonstrations and participants will be engaged in hands-on activities including knot tying.
Each participant receives a grab bag of tackle and promotional items supplied by Finders Keepers and our generous sponsors.
